Many people dream of going on an African Safari. A safari
evokes exotic destinations, amazing natural wildlife,
adventure travel, a touch of danger and romance,
photographic opportunities and lasting memories. An African
safari is still an unusual vacation choice that your friends
will want to know all about when you get back.

In East Africa, Kenya is a great choice as a safari vacation
destination because of the opportunity to combine an
exciting African wildlife safari expedition with a relaxing
beach vacation. One day you can be swimming in the warm
Indian Ocean on a sandy tropical beach, and the next day you
can be watching lions and elephants in the wild.

A combined safari and beach vacation to Kenya is the perfect
exotic break away from your daily city routines. It also
makes for an idyllic honeymoon trip if you have wedding
plans in mind.

A vacation in Kenya has become a popular choice for European
travellers in recent years, especially among the British.
This has been helped along by the relative strength of
European currencies. Kenya as a destination is less well
known among Americans because of the greater travel
distance, but is gaining in popularity as Kenya's reputation
spreads as an opportunity for a unique vacation experience.

Kenya enjoys a near perfect year-round climate for
vacationers. There is an annual rainy season between May and
July each year, but the rains come in short tropical bursts
that should not detract from the enjoyment of your Kenya
holiday.

There is an abundance of interesting activities to
experience in Kenya. Kenya is unique in being able to offer
the combination of relaxing on a tropical beach resort
vacation with an African wildlife safari adventure.

You can choose from a range of hotels for your Kenya beach
holiday, from low cost accommodation right up to top luxury
five star resorts. The main Kenyan beach hotels are located
about an hours drive from Mombasa Airport. You can enjoy
sandy tropical beaches and swim in the warm Indian Ocean.

You have numerous safari expedition choices available. The
Tsavo National Parks are not far from the beach resorts. For
many visitors, one or two nights away on safari more than
fulfills their expectations, or longer if you wish. You can
choose to make your trip simple or luxurious with many
options available.

The Masai Mara Game Reserve offers another safari
experience. It is reached by traveling further to Nairobi.
You can choose from several safari tour options. There are
luxury options, staying 4-5 nights in luxury accommodation
built to a safari theme, that neatly match a stay in a
luxury beach resort.

Whatever safari tour you choose is sure to be a memorable
experience. You may see more varied wildlife in the Masai
Mara, but there is an abundance of animals in both parks
that will ensure your visit is eventful and thrilling. You
will be guided by safari experts who will make sure you
enjoy your visit, and keep you safe as you view the animals
close up.

A beach and African safari vacation in Kenya is an exciting
choice, with options available to suit both travelers on a
budget and those seeking a luxury experience.

(http://tinyurl.com/3z6yqu) Shelby Wright strongly
recommends you consider the unique travel adventure
experience of seeing African wild animals in their natural
habitat by selecting from the exciting

The Hawaiian City Of Kailua-Kona

by Lena Hellsten

Most people that are visiting the Big Island of Hawaii stay
at the west side of the island, mainly because of the great
climate there, with less rain and wind than on the east
side. Kailua-Kona is the most popular city in the west for
tourists.

There are lots of beaches to choose from with powdery white
sand and the ocean is calmer in contrast to the rest of the
island. The city and its surrounding area offers a lot of
beauty and all you can wish for to rejuvenate yourself.

Kona is a relaxed and calm city, located at the foot of
Hualalai volcano. This city has a lot to offer for its
visitors; a good amount of hotels and vacation rentals, bars
and restaurants and a lot of interesting historical sites,
making it the perfect destination for your holiday.

The city is ancient and a lot of the Hawaiian kings made it
into their home. Later the missionaries turned this place
into a seaport and built a lot of churches and houses here.
The Kailua Pier is located in the middle of the city and is
a must see. From this spot you have a good view over the
whole area and to watch the sunset from the pier is a
wonderful experience! Kona offers amazing sunsets almost
every evening.

Just at the side of the pier you find Kamakahonu Beach. Here
you can spend your day, relaxing in the sun on the white
sand and swimming in the calm water. The beach is not too
busy, but you can still find some beach activities. The
water is great for snorkeling and there are canoe rentals.

The main street in the city is called Ali'i Drive, and by
strolling along this street you get to see the oceanfront
part of the city. Along this street is where most things are
happening; a lot of restaurants is located here as well as
little shops and hotels.

A lot of people make Kona into their main location at their
Big Island stay; it's only a short ride from the airport and
it's easy to find daily trips and activities from here. Many
boat cruising companies starts off from here and you can do
hiking or horse-back riding on the surrounding area

Kona is the great place to have as a base for your Big
Island vacation. Enjoy your stay here with its perfect
mixture of modern and ancient.

Touring Murcia and the Costa Calida

by Ken Morris

The beautiful region of Murcia in Spain is a vacation
hotspot for many Europeans as well as those from other parts
of the globe. The amount of visitors to this area has
greatly increased and much of that can be attributed to
finding flights to Murcia at a price that is considerably
less than in years past. Budget airlines in Europe have
increased frequency and forced all airlines in the market to
reduce their fares which means a savings for the traveling
public.

Murcia is a perfect location for exploring the Costa Calida
on the Southeastern Coast of Spain. Weather in this region
is pleasant all year round so it is popular in summer and
winter, though less so in the latter since it's cooler which
makes (http://www.alicante-spain.com/murcia_flights.html)
flights that much cheaper. La Manga and Cartagena is a
short distance from Murcia which are huge beach and coastal
destinations.

There is really something for everyone in this region. If
you enjoy outdoor activities there are plenty of things to
keep you busy. There are world class golf courses so you
can tee off with the beautiful coastal landscape as your
backdrop. The beaches along the Costa Calida are
exceptional so if relaxation is more your style there is
much to choose from. There are also hiking trails and for
the more adventurous there is even climbing. Other
recreational activities are available to accommodate any
outdoor visitor regardless of physical ability or time of
year.

Besides outdoor activities there are plenty of other things
to keep you busy and entertained. The area is rich in
history and culture so there are many opportunities for
visiting sites, museums and galleries. There is fantastic
shopping to entice any budget; home wares of traditional
quality are on offer which makes great souvenirs for
yourself or for friends and family back home.

To find flights to Murcia at a price that fits your budget
use the internet. It has the best deals and many low cost
airlines only permit bookings online. Travel websites are
easy to use and will compare flight departure times,
companies and prices for the days you wish to travel. Keep
in mind though that some budget airlines only sell tickets
on their own website so it pays to shop around.

There are a variety of accommodations available in Murcia
and the surrounding areas. The amount of luxury really
depends on how much you're willing to spend but deals can be
found. Hotels or service apartments can be booked online.
Discounts are generally available during non-peak travel
days and seasons (winter).

Murcia and the Costa Calida area have something for everyone
and pleasant weather all year round so don't pass it up as a
holiday destination.

Concentrating recent findings in flights to murcia from
scotland, Ken Morris pens mostly for

The Jockey club iBiza is on of the finest beach restaurants
on the island if not in the world.

You'll find it half way down the white powdery sands of
Salinas, a beautiful stretch of beach for the "beautiful
people" of Europe.

If you can get a hamaca then there's a beach service
provided by the fit and friendly waiting staff.

The Jockey club, Salinas, Ibiza is a great place to grab
breakfast or a late-afternoon drink and watch sunbathers,
while D.J.'s spin their Balearic beats.

The Jockey Club also has a great shop where you can buy some
real cool clothes for iBiza beaches. I'd avoid the branded
t-shirts as you'll be mistaken for staff by some of the
clients.

I recommend the the mixed fruit juice for breakfast with a
coffee and the tomato and garlic toast - heaven.

Getting to the Jockey Club is easy just follow the signs for
the airport and then take the signs for Salinas. Head past
DC10 and the flamingos [if they're there in the salt pans]
and you'll find plenty of parking behind the club once you
get to Salinas.

The Palm will open this September as the flagship resort on The Palm Jumeirah – the first resort to open its doors on Dubai’s revolutionary island. Created by Kerzner International Holdings Limited, a leading international developer and operator of destination resorts, the stunning new 1,539-room resort began accepting reservations February 1, 2008.

With its enviable location atop the crescent of The Palm Jumeirah, the opening of Atlantis, The Palm will be a landmark event, redefining tourism in Dubai as the first truly integrated entertainment resort. Reflecting executive Chairman Sol Kerzner’s vision to transport guests into a dazzling, imaginative world, the resort will encompass a 46 hectare site with 17 hectares of water themed amusement at AQUAVENTURE, extensive fresh and salt-water pools and lagoon exhibits, an open-aired marine habitat second only to Mother Nature, a seemingly endless stretch of beach, luxury boutiques, numerous dining choices including four celebrity chef restaurants, an exciting nightclub, a Spa and Fitness Club, and 5,600m² of meeting and function space.

“This is an exciting time for Dubai and for Kerzner International. With the introduction of a new world icon in The Palm Jumeirah and our position as the flagship resort of this icon, Atlantis, The Palm is situated as the new gateway to this incredible region. Out of a vision that married the wonders of marine life with stunning elegance and sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf alongside the most exciting water playground in this part of the world, we have developed an experience within Atlantis that is truly different than the existing pleasures of Dubai. We’re very proud of the final product and cannot wait to share it in September when we open our doors,” shared Sol Kerzner, Executive Chairman, Kerzner International.
Rehoboth Beach often bills itself as "The Nation's Summer Capital" due to the fact that it is a frequent summer vacation destination for Washington, D.C., residents as well as visitors from Maryland, Virginia and in lesser numbers, Pennsylvania. Vacationers are drawn for many reasons, including the town's charm, artistic appeal and nightlife.

Still famous for its beaches, wooden boardwalk, eclectic shops, amusements, and sporting activities, today's Rehoboth Beach is also known as one of the mid-Atlantic coast's popular gay and lesbian getaways because of the large number of gay-owned and operated businesses and because of the gay-frequented stretch of beach near Queen Street, known as Poodle Beach.

Rehoboth Beach serves as an alternative to nearby and much more developed Ocean City, Maryland. Rehoboth Beach, together with the towns of Lewes, Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach, South Bethany, and Fenwick Island, comprises Delaware's beach resorts and is Sussex County's most densely populated and fastest-growing area.

Reader's Digest named the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk as "Best of America". This celebration of the quirky, amazing and truly extraordinary was featured in the May 2006 issue. Additionally, AARP has named Rehoboth Beach as one of five dream towns as "Best Places to Retire".

The town has several festivals including the Sea Witch Festival, the Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival and the Rehoboth Beach Autumn Jazz Festival every year.

The San Jose Nightlife, California Style After Hours

by Juble.com

The ideal vacation getaway is one where there are thousands
of activities from every aspect imaginable, including the
ethnicity. No one wants a vacation full of meals at the same
types of restaurants. The same holds true with activities.
While the beach may be fun, no one wants to sit on the beach
for two weeks straight without a break. They want variety.
Finally, who would look forward to the same sports bar every
night for after hour's entertainment? People want variety,
and that is what they get in the San Jose California
nightlife.

With over forty clubs, bars, and dance spots to choose from,
one could not possibly experience them all within a one or
two week vacation time. Although the majority of San Jose
nightlife locations are on a par of excellence that is
unparalleled, there are a few that stand out in their
originality, service, and interest.

The Voodoo Lounge: One of the most original and intriguing
night sites in the Silicon Valley is that of The Voodoo
lounge. The Voodoo lounge gives a dark and romantic
atmosphere, while maintaining a defined high-energy mood.
The word "vampire" comes to mind. The Voodoo Lounge always
has some new DJ or band to keep the energy and music
flowing. There are also the occasional big music names in
the industry, such as Deep Rooted and Soul Star. As a bonus,
another area of this building serves as a grill diner while
another is a hotel. You can literally get the entire
vacation package at The Voodoo Lounge.

J.J.'s Blues Lounge: If a more traditional older American
scene is your venue of choice, give J.J.'s Blues Lounge a
shot. This hot spot of the San Jose lifestyle is highly
reminiscent of the Chicago nightlife in the late 1950's era.
Here you will find walls covered with photographs and
memorabilia from some of the world's most famous Jazz music
artisans. This spot was voted the Best Blues Club in
California three times over the past decade. The service
here is also themed with a jazz edge to it. The drinks are
stout as the music. This is a guaranteed good time if you
are a jazzy night lifer!

The Avalon: If elegance, flash, loud music and a fast pace
is your theme of choice, then you will be right at home at
the Avalon. This is considered to be Silicon Valley's most
elegant nightclub. You won't find a bunch of young punks
with screaming unintelligible excuses for music here. The
patrons of this high-class party joint are the cutting edge
of the definition of style in this generation. There is
dancing, a variety of local popular DJ's, an excellent and
romantic lounge, and occasional live bands. If you want to
hold a private party, the Avalon can be rented for a special
catered event, complete with drinks!

These are the top three hot nightspots that San Jose has to
offer, but you have to go in with the understanding that
these are so high on the ladder of excellence that others
can't compare. The forty something other clubs in the area
are also a truly wild experience. Shop around and give them
all a try when you visit San Jose California.

CoCo Key Water Resort in Cincinnati

by Juble.com

The more water that a vacation involves, the more fun it
seems to be. Everyone wants a good watery vacation. Most go
to remote locations, such as Myrtle Beach South Carolina,
Key West Florida, or Oahu Hawaii to get their fix of blue
waters and wet fun. On the down side, all of these places
are considered high traffic tourist areas. Armed with the
knowledge of the popularity of their locations, these cities
have raised the prices on everything from the massive amount
of attractions, to restaurants and hotels. It has gotten to
such an extreme over the past few years that most people
simply cannot afford a good fun-filled water vacation.
Cincinnati Ohio, however, has an affordable alternative that
is just as much fun in the form of the CoCo Key Water
Resort.

The CoCo Water Resort could basically be summed up as every
kind of water fun you would find in the more expensive
locations at a fraction of the price. This wonderfully wet
water park is designed to emulate the environment of Key
West Florida. The only difference is that it is inside,
though one might not realize it while he or she was here.
There is over fifty thousand feet of water fun to be found
in this massive establishment. The price for entry is only
twenty dollars during the week and thirty dollars on
weekends. There are no hidden fees indoors. Once you step
foot into the doorway, the fun is all completely free from
there on out.

There is tons of family fun to be found at the CoCo Key
Water Resort. One of the more popular attractions is the
Parrot's Perch Play Structure. In this area, you will find
many exciting liquid attractions to jump into. There is a
giant bucket that dumps several hundred gallons of water on
whoever is in range every few minutes. There are a variety
of slides to hurl down and even a water cannon! This area is
not very deep and is suitable for the younger children in
your family.

Then there is the ever-popular attraction of the Palm Grotto
Spa. This is where the parents will get the majority of
their watery fun. There is nothing quite so relaxing as
sitting in one of these massive whirlpools and letting the
warm soothing water bubble up around you, washing all your
cares and stress away in the blink of an eye. The aspect of
this wonderful attraction is that it is partially outdoors.
You can swim under the wall to go from the indoor area to
the outdoor area. This is the perfect option for parents as
their children while away the hours in their own fast paced
water areas.

There are many more aquatic adventures to be found at here,
such as the Dip in Theatre where you watch movies while you
float, the Coral Reef Cavern, Rusty's Dive Shop, and the
Coconut Grove Adventure River ride. The list goes on and on,
as does your fun water filled vacation experience. This
summer, save a ton of money and have just as much fun in
Cincinnati Ohio.

The perfect holiday must begin with the perfect location.
And what could be better than spending your special time in
exciting, exotic Zanzibar. Restful, relaxing accommodations
and complete pampering in a magnificent location await you
on your holiday in Zanzibar.

One of the most common concerns when traveling to other
parts of the world is the issues revolving around currency.
Your Zanzibar holidays won't be hindered by this problem as
there are a multitude of options available after you enter
the land. The Tanzanian Shilling is widely used but for
convenience credit cards are also accepted at the larger
establishments.

Since Zanzibar is near the equator, the climate is warm and
temperate year round. The only problem is that the monsoons
come between April and June, making the beautiful island
very damp. Holidays during the rest of the year are blessed
with warm, clear weather, perfect for enjoying all the
available activities.

Zanzibar, "Unguja" to the natives, is the largest island and
it is perched out in the Indian Ocean off the mainland of
Tanzania. There aren't as many wild beasts that roam this
tropical island as there are in the rest of Africa but the
jungles do have monkeys and a few other indigenous animals
that call Zanzibar home. So safaris, which this area of the
world is famous for really isn't a thriving business. But,
there is plenty of sight seeing tours should you feel the
need to wander.

Both experienced and beginner divers from all over the world
come to the waters Zanzibar. If you are interested in seeing
dazzling colors of the coral reefs that stretch as far as
the naked eye can see, and gazing upon the marine life that
is brilliantly displayed then your holidays are waiting to
delight you. The Indian Ocean is a terrific area to dive
right into!

For those desiring a more athletic tone to their Zanzibar
holiday fear not. There are many things to enjoy and take
part in. A few of the spectacular events that sports or
active lifestyles crave are: scuba diving, snorkeling, deep
sea fishing, canoeing, mountain biking and of course
tennis.

The scenery is absolutely mesmerizing and alluring. The
beaches stretch out with some of the most beautifully
landscaped terrain. The foliage and atmosphere add to the
ambiance which provides a holiday that you'll wish would
never end. So with all of the luxury hotels and resorts your
Zanzibar holidays can be amongst the most memorable
adventures of your life.

From the perfectly maintained traditional furniture to the
coffee and cream color scheme, the interior is romantic and
welcoming. The Spice inspired bar and international cuisine
compliment the Palms Zanzibar's authentic beauty. The

Picturesque Locations in Brazil

by hispanic

You can take a look at Santos, a beach town in Brazil which
is always considered a point of interest. Santos is a very
interesting beach town in Brazil because it challenges you
to explore its seven-kilometer long walk from the entrance.
The entrance alone comes from the town of Ponta de Praia and
ends in San Vicente.

Visiting the Santos Beach Garden is about experiencing the
largest beach garden in the world. Where else would you find
a beach that gives you access to seven kilometers of summer
sand and wonderful landscape? You can find three-kilometer
or even five-kilometer beach garden, but you won't find
anything as large as a seven-kilometer summer loving beach
garden.

Many people around the world consider this particular beach
garden in Santos as the largest in the world. This could
very well not far from the truth, for how many other 7
kilometer beach gardens are there in the world anyway?

As a tourist, you surely would want to take pictures. Start
taking pictures in the Aquarium. If you have seen the
entrance, walk some more steps until you reach the Aquarium.
You will be welcomed with exotic fishes, sharks, and sea
lions - just what you kids will surely love. Then again, the
management discourages cameras flashing, so turn the flash
function off while taking pictures in the area.

Of course, you shouldn't let your visit end without seeing
the refrigerated aquarium houses. Here you will see the
penguins nourished in the waters of wonderful Brazil. You
will find most sea lions here, so carry your child and take
a picture of him or her with the sea lions around.

Santos Beach House is just like any other tourist spot in
the world when it comes to sanitation and cleanliness. The
rules are strictly followed so play your part as a visitor:
respect the law. You wouldn't want the next visitors after
you to be uncomfortable with their stay just because you
didn't dispose of your garbage properly, do you?

Are All-Inclusive Family Vacations Worth It?
If you do not want to worry about settling the hotel bills when you check out, pay time and again for airport transfers, pay for each meal while you are on your vacation, an all-inclusive is an excellent option. All-inclusive family vacations give you the security of knowing that the price you pay once and for all covers everything, without giving you any surprises. Hassles in paying different bills separately should not leave you wondering why you went on holiday in the first place, and why you took a vacation that ends up emptying your bank account! But are all-inclusive family vacations worth the money spent?

Let us be honest. All-inclusive resorts can be expensive. But there is a positive side to it. If you are going to a destination where the cost of meals, snacks, liquor and activities are expensive, an all-inclusive vacation may save you money.

All inclusive family vacations is perfect for those people who just want to enjoy themselves while they are on vacation, without being bothered about making payments every time they turn around. However, if you are the type who is very particular about everything and you do not drink or eat what is normally served in hotels, then an all-inclusive vacation could be expensive overall.

If you are traveling with children, all-inclusive vacation may just be the answer you have been looking for. Many all-inclusive vacation destinations have child care facilities. Resorts often organize events and activities for their young guests to keep them busy and entertained. This means that the parents have more free time to enjoy their holiday. Some all-inclusive hotels do not charge extra if the children share their parents’ room. However, you would need to check with the hotel or resort if they have such a facility. Moreover, you need to check with them concerning what their age limit criteria are.

All-inclusive vacations are also good when you have chosen a destination where venturing out would be unsafe or unadvisable. You can enjoy the local flavor in the resort or hotel without endangering yourself or your family. When you opt for an all-inclusive vacation in such scenario you will end up enjoying yourself and having a worry-free holiday.

However, choosing an all-inclusive vacation has to be made by you after weighing all the factors. If you want to have a vacation where you do not have to worry about money or where you would definitely enjoy the food and take advantage of all the activities and entertainment offered by the resort or hotel, then an all inclusive family vacation might be a good idea.

On the other hand, if you are type who wants to explore the locality, spend time in the vacation destination absorbing the ambience, or if you enjoy experimenting with the local cuisine, then and all-inclusive vacation may not be for you. You would better off choosing different holiday package for your family.

iBiza's Award Winning Beaches

by iBiza Joe

Spain has come top of the tables for clean and safe beaches
in 2008, according to the Foundation for Environmental
Education, who hand out the Blue Flags. The Spanish got 499
Blue Flags and a further 77 for their Marinas.

The Balearics in particular were granted 61 with iBiza
picking up 18. Not bad for an island 45 km long and 25 km
wide.

They awarded over 3000 flag to thirty six countries across
the world including South Africa, New Zealand and the
Caribbean. I'd hate to be a judge on that panel. The flag is
a symbol of quality.

Environmental matters are at the heart of the judging
criteria, which also takes into account education and water
quality.

In iBiza the beaches with blue flags are - Cala Tarida, Cala
Conta, Cala Bassa, Cala DHort, Cala Migjorn Cala Vadella,
Cala Llenya, es Canar, Cala Llonga, Santa Eulalia beach and
es Figueral. San Miguel, Cala San Vicent, Portinax and
Benirras, Cala Gracio, es Calo des Moro and es Pouet.

Jacksonville is one of the better choices for that first
beach vacation in that it is not one of the Florida top tourist
areas. The traffic isn't bad, the beaches aren't crowded,
and you don't have to worry about the skyrocketed prices on
hotel rooms as well as everything else that you have to buy
while in town. In the bigger Florida cities, there is a far
less chance that you can sit on the beach in peace without
hundreds of people walking in front of and behind you.

Of course, even not being a major tourist trap, there are
still plenty of things to do along the twenty plus miles of
Jacksonville shoreline. There are cruise rentals where you
can spend an entire day with your family on the lovely blue
Atlantic waters, sun bathing on what feels like your very
own yacht while the children stand at the edge and watch the
dolphins burst forth from the waves alongside the ship.

Alternatively, if you are more of the outdoor sports type,
there is deep sea fishing expeditions that you can also book
at one of the many piers along the coastline in
Jacksonville. You can have your choice of different lengths
of outings and different fish to go after. If you are truly
the adventurous type, you can even go after the ultimate
fisherman's prey, the Sharks! Or, if the boating is not
really where your heart is, you can simply fish off the end
of the piers. There are many nice shops that will sell you
bait and provide all your fishing gear for you.

Jacksonville also has an ample supply of nightlife,
restaurants, fine hotels, and even beach house rentals if
you would rather have your own personal space, as many do.
There is golf, tennis, biking, boating and hundreds of other
activities, but without the crowds and ridiculous prices of
the more urban tourist driven areas. If this is your first
beachfront vacation, by all means, make it at the
Jacksonville Beach where you can truly get into the real
beach experience. You are, after all, only a first time
beachcomber only once in your lifetime. Make it count in
Jacksonville Florida.

If a vacation on a beach is what the family wants, popular beaches include Myrtle Beach, Daytona Beach, South Beach, Panama City Beach, and Santa Barbara Beach. There are a large number
of beaches located along the United States coasts and
overseas. It is also important to note that beach vacations
do not have to be limited to the coast. There are a number
of popular beach resorts located inland too. These inland
resorts are often located on large lakes.

Planning a summer vacation may seem like a daunting task but
it can be made easy. The first thing to do is to decide what
kind of vacation you would like. Does your family like to be
active - hiking, biking, sailing or does your family enjoy
more leisurely pursuits - relaxing, sunbathing, strolling on
a boardwalk? By focusing on the activities that your family
enjoys, it will make it easier to select the vacation
destination where you can enjoy them.

Now there are many vacation destinations which may be
suitable. You will need to have look at several ones that
appeal before you narrow them down.

Destination and travel brochures can easily be found or
ordered online. Brochures are available from most large
cities and popular vacation destinations in the United
States or overseas. Having glossy pictures can be a good
way to show the kids and get everyone excited about the
vacation.

One of the options that a lot of families choose for their
summer vacation is a vacation at an amusement park. There
are a large number of amusement parks located all across the
United States. You could visit a local amusement park or
you could travel across the country to find one; your
options are literally unlimited. Some of the well-known
amusement parks in the United States include Six Flags, Bush
Gardens, and Sea World and of course the granddaddy of them
all, Disney.

Another popular choice for summer family vacations is
camping. Again, there are many choices so doing your
research will help narrow it down. Kids of all ages enjoy
what nature has to offer and it is a great learning
experience for them too.

So as you can see, you have an unlimited number of options
when it comes to choosing a summer vacation destination.
This is not however a bad thing. Take the time and decide
what activities your family would like to enjoy, research
some destination options, consider your time and budget and
narrow it down. Maybe this summer, you will have the family
vacation of your dreams because what really matters is that
you are spending time together.

If you are looking for a great place to take a quite, laid
back beach vacation then Mojacar is the place for you. The sandy beaches and simple charms are all protected to ensure that the city is not ruined by big business and corporations buying up the land. This makes it a great place for those who are looking for a traditional atmosphere, with real people, without the fake resort feel.

Mojacar is held in Almeria, a region of Spain. As you draw
towards the city a seemingly white mountain will welcome
you. Due to the white washed houses that are held closely
to the sides of the cliffs the city appears as a snow
covered mountain top in the tropical environment. The
houses are squeezed together by the crystal clear sea and
the mountains of the Sierra Cabrera. These factors help
Mojacar to be the most celebrated tourist attraction in the
entire Southern corner of Spain.

The history of this great culture is well kept by the
citizens of the area. If you plan on visiting the area you
will do well to know something about it before visiting.
The Arabians were the first noted inhabitants of the area.
They named in Munsaqar and spent hundreds of years fighting
the Christian armies over the right to live in the area.
There remain many historical artifacts and architecture that
have stood the test of time.

In the fifteenth century Spain reclaimed the area led by
King Ferdinand. Some of the Arabians architecture has been
preserved and today is being protected by law. One of these
preserved pieces of architecture is the Moorish fortress,
which brings the visitor in to the environment the Arabs
existed in after their travels from Africa.

In memory of the Arabian-Christian struggle that took place
in the area a huge fiesta is held every year. Mock battles
fought with fake swords, fantastic outfits, and enormous
cigars are all used to better remember the struggle that
happened there, as well as throw a swell party.

One of the most infamous claims of the area is that Walt
Disney was born in Mojacar. It is said that Walt's true
mother was an inhabitant of the city and he was born to her
as an illegitimate child. His mother was so ashamed that
she was forced to flee the area. She traveled to America to
attempt to better her luck. While in America she placed
Walt up for adoption. He was then taken in by Flora and
Elias Disney. None of these claims can be proven, because
all records of the children born in Mojacar were burned
during the Spanish Civil War.

Restrictions have been put in place in several different
fashions to ensure that Mojacar's beauty is not over taken
by big buildings and big business. Hotels can reach no
higher than four floors tall, and residential buildings can
only reach up to two stories. The beach stretches to a
length of seventeen kilometers. Only seven kilometers or
that seventeen are developed what so ever. This leaves the
remaining ten kilometers natural and not to be tampered
with.

Mojacar is a wonderful place to enjoy your time off. Its
breathtaking views, small wobbling streets, and lovely
beaches will all have you planning a second trip the moment
you return. It is a place of wonderful traditional beauty
that shall not be spoiled any time soon.

Mission Beach is a community on a stretch of sandbar along the Pacific Ocean to the west and Mission Bay to the east in San Diego. Over the years, hanging out at the beach has become synonymous with rock and roll, surfer dudes, and bikini clad dudettes, and the beaches have always been a place to relax, unwind, and have a good time. Expect to find all kinds of free-spirited folk at the ever popular Mission Beach, sporting all kinds of styles - from dreadlocks to designer jeans - and styling all kinds of sports - skating, skateboarding, surfing and cycling. But that's only one side of the Mission Beach story.

The San Diego Bay area offers the perfect natural setting for water sports, bicycling, surfing, tennis and boogie boarding. The natural beauty near our San Diego beach hotel provides the perfect backdrop for just about any type of outdoor activity. For those seeking a romantic retreat, the resort's magical architecture and island setting are perfect. The Del is also a wonderful family vacation destination, featuring abundant recreation , as well as seasonal teen and children's programs .

The boardwalk is a popular place to see people, especially at night. A party can usually be found somewhere on a Friday or Saturday night and as the atmosphere is charged at Belmont Park. There is a very busy boardwalk, nearly 3 miles long, that runs the length of Pacific Beach. There is also a boardwalk along the bayfront. Pick up a sandwich at one of the cafes nearby and walk along the landscaped boardwalk until you find the perfect patch of white sand for your picnic. Here you’ll have a spectacular view of the Hotel Del Coronado behind you and the sapphire blue Pacific Ocean in front.

If you're heading for Florida for a vacation, there are many
popular beaches and beach parks to choose from. In order to
make the most out of your stay, though, you may need a few
tips before you head on to Florida and start your vacation.
Here they are:

Parking areas in Florida resorts and parks are commonly
tagged via colors and characters. Always write down our
parking lot section, so you don't forget where your car is
parked.

Parades are very common especially inside Florida theme
parks. While people are watching the parades, head for the
theme park rides as the lines will be a lot shorter when the
rest of the crowd is distracted. That way, you won't have
to line up for so long.

Parades are very common inside Florida theme parks. Take
advantage of scheduled parades and use this time to get on
the rides. Since almost everyone will be watching the
parades, the lines for the theme park rides won't be as
long, and you won't have to waste so much time being in
line.

Try not to follow the crowds when you're at a Florida beach.
When in Florida resorts and theme parks, people
automatically turn right and turn clockwise in order to go
around. If you want to know where you're heading, turn left
and go counterclockwise as Florida residents do.

Florida beaches have lifeguards stationed around. But with
all the tourists and locals to look out for, watching over
everyone can be difficult. Stay in areas of the water where
the lifeguard can easily see you, and as much as possible,
don't swim alone.

Plan your vacation before going to Florida. Buy a map that
provides vacation tips. There are many things to see and
enjoy in Florida, so it would be good to do as many
activities during the time you are there. Since Florida
beaches are large, you can easily get lost. Don't waste
time and follow park's tip boards and maps in order to be
able head to as many places as possible.

In most cases, the destination of the average family
vacation is not decided on what place has the nicest hotels,
the most scenic views, or any other attraction that is
present in any given area. More often than not, it is
decided by the budget. In the end, the cheapest getaway spot
is generally the one that wins out. Unfortunately, it is not
always the type of vacation that you would prefer. The
everyday citizen, the nine to five blue-collar type, simply
cannot afford to go running off to the best vacation
destinations in the world. He or she just does not have that
kind of money. Nevertheless, many would be surprised to find
that all the great vacation spots do not have to cost an arm
and a leg, if one is clever enough to do the research
first.

Let's take Honolulu Hawaii for example. This lovely city
located on the scenic tropical island of Oahu is one of the
world's premier vacation spots for the rich and famous.
Everyone loves the beaches and the palm trees. Most average
citizens do not even consider this as a destination. They
automatically assume that the trip is going to be way out of
their budget, so it isn't even contemplated. This, however,
is not entirely the truth. If you can afford a plane ticket
to get to Honolulu and accommodations when you get there,
you can find a fairly reasonably priced vacation awaiting
you.

Take a look at the beaches, for instance. Oahu beaches,
particularly those around the city of Hawaii, are all
absolutely free. There is no cost to lie upon the beach,
soaking up the sunshine. The scenic view of the turquoise
water with majestic white-crusted waves is one hundred
percent free. The children's sand castles that they build
cost nothing at all, nor does the fun they have splashing
around at the waters edge. It's completely free for the
taking.

Then there are attractions such as the Diamond Head Hiking
trail. A walk along this trail up the side of a majestic
volcano is yours for the taking at no charge, nor is the
lovely waterfalls trail that leads an hour into the forest
to a massive two hundred foot waterfall. So far this would,
at this point, make for the vacation of a lifetime, and you
still haven't spent a single dime on attractions!

As restaurants go, of course, there are going to be some
expensive places to eat in a massive city such as Honolulu,
but then, in a city of this size, you can always expect to
find the more affordable chain restaurants also. After all,
who doesn't like a good McDonalds Hamburger every once in a
while? And then, when you consider how much money that you
have actually saved on the attractions up to this point, you
will be able to treat yourself to something extra on the
trip. You can choose from numerous water parks, amusement
parks, museums, and other attractions. You may even be
surprised to find how affordable these can actually be.

This year, when planning your budget vacation, do not
automatically knock out the worlds number one vacation spot
just because you assume you can't afford it. Do a little bit
of research and find out that Honolulu Hawaii may go beyond
being a dream, and become a dream come true.

have realized that those who used to spend their vacations
here for romantic getaways are now the proud parents of
their own family, and thus will look for some place to go
that caters to children also.

The Hawaii Children's Discovery Center:- One of the many
popular spots for families with children is the Hawaii
Children's Discovery Center. Here your children will have a
ball with hundreds of interactive exhibits created
specifically for them. Though the children do not generally
realize it, while they are having fun at the four main
sections, Fantastic You, Your Town, Your Rainbow World and
Hawaiian Rainbows, they are actually learning. This
wonderful establishment actually goes so far as to make
learning a thrilling experience for the kids.

Mastering the Waves at Waikiki:- On the next day the parents
can kick back and enjoy the beach just like the good old
days before the children were born at the famed Waikiki
Beach as the children are taken under the wings of licensed
CPR certified lifeguards. The lifeguards will take the
children out into the water and teach them how to surf. You
cannot possibly imagine how much of a thrill this will be
fore the children. Every kid wants to surf!

North Shore Know How:- Then, as a reward for learning how to
surf, the parents can load the kids up and take them to the
North Shore, the United States number one professional
surfing spot. Of course, you won't want to let your children
surf on this beach, as the waves are far too large and there
is the occasional shallow reef, but it would be a real
experience to just let the kids watch the professional
surfers using the lessons that the children just spent the
last few hours learning. After this, they will want to come
back every year until they too can become pro level
surfers!

The Sea Life Park:- Then there is the ever-popular Sea Life
Park. This is a wonderful park actually placed on a
mountainside. The parents will love the majestic views on
the trip up, but the kids' fun will actually begin at the
park. Here they will marvel at the various exhibitions of
sea life, such as penguins, sea lions and dolphins. There
is just something about dolphins that kids seem to love. If
they are lucky, they might even have the opportunity to feed
a dolphin!

The United States lays claim to hundreds of truly great
vacation getaway spots for the entire family, but lets face
it, if someone were to ask you what your perfect paradise
would be, the tropical islands of Hawaii are always the
first to pop into your mind. This year, load up your luggage
for a fun filled getaway to scenic Honolulu Hawaii, the
vacation spot for the whole family.

Not a lot of words can capture the haunting beauty of a
sunset. It has been a prominent figure in paintings
whenever artists picture their depressed states. A lot of
poems are marked with cryptic descriptions of a sunset as
poets describe moments in their life that are somehow
comparable to the haunting image. In your case, you can use
your camera to take sunset beach pictures and lace them with
your own impressions.

The following are a few basic tips on how to shoot that
perfect sunset beach picture: Watch out for that glare -
This is actually one of the most complicated aspects of
sunset photography, since this is one of those rare
instances wherein the photographer is required to shoot
towards the light source, and not "around" it. In any case
finding the right angle is often enough to minimize the
glare effect on the final photograph.

Before you take a sunset beach picture, keep the
photographer's "Rule of Thirds" in mind. Place the horizon
on the bottom or the top third of your photograph to make
the image more balanced and impressionistic. Also, you
should watch out for the sun's glare. The glare can mess-up
your photographs since the rays of light can cover the
scenes of your photograph. You have to find an angle where
the sunset view looks good and the glare is minimal. Once
you find a nice angle for your photograph, you can actually
use the glare to create an artistic image of the sun's
rays.

Try observing the techniques used in other sunset beach
pictures first and see how finding that perfect angle makes
all the difference. Sunset beach pictures are very common
nowadays in postcards and other travel-related
illustrations; the near-absence of light combined with the
rippled illumination of the sun against the water's surface
generates a dramatic mood unique to sunset beach pictures.
Online, sunset beach pictures are equally popular as
wallpapers and, sometimes, even as screensavers.
